SASSA is going to be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted read more to service the area every day. The assistance stage made for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which status sassa makes it difficult with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to enable the servicing of all consumers and raise entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
